Kinkora House is a camp vacation for adults with intellectual disabilities. Our dedicated staff provide our Kinkora House campers with the support they need to take part in activities ranging from boating and swimming to games and arts and crafts to explore their creativity.

Kinkora House campers are an integral part of the Camp Kinkora community, sharing the camp experience with the other groups attending our site. While we have a dedicated program specific to our Kinkora House campers wants and needs, we also participate in some shared activities with other groups on site such as mealtimes, music sessions, and campfires.
Kinkora House has been the venue for a specialized sleepaway camp for adults with intellectual disabilities for decades. However, prior to 2024 Kinkora Activity Camp’s role was to maintain the facilities for the Kinkora House programs, while the administration, program development, and staff for Kinkora House were all provided by external organizations. Following the camp closures during COVID 19, the organization that previously managed Kinkora House was not able to continue. Knowing how impactful the camp experience is for this unique group of campers, KAC decided to take on full responsibility for delivering the Kinkora House program.
The return of Kinkora House has been met with overwhelming positivity from the rest of the Kinkora community. Our staff, volunteers and other camper groups, are thrilled to be able to share the camp experience with this exceptional group of individuals who bring so much spirit to Kinkora.
We currently offer sessions each summer and will be introducing some off-season sessions in the coming year. Please contact kinkorahouse@campkinkora.com for more information, or to register a camper for Kinkora House.
